We are excited to begin this new school year! Our new PTA Board has been working this summer to identify and develop ways we can better serve our school and students and also communicate these ideas so everyone is informed and connected. We would love your input. If have questions and/or want to get involved, please email us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Nothing we do for the Husky community would be possible without your support. We value your time and donations and look forward to working with you to SUPPORT OUR HUSKY PACK!
Let's Get Ready for the 2017-2018 School Year!
PTA’s Support Our Husky Pack campaign has launched for the 2017-2018 school year. This is our 2nd annual donation drive and is the PTA’s only major fundraiser of the year. Please consider donating so we can continue supporting Teacher Grants, W.E.B mentoring training for students and teachers, Learn and Serve Garden and so much more…
There are two opportunities to join and donate:
- Parents and family members may sign up for PTA and donate to Support Our Husky Pack in the CMS office.
- Visit the Membership page and sign up through PayPal.
Thank you in advance for your support of Crabapple Middle Schools’ PTA, students and teachers! We are looking forward to a fun and productive year!

Georgia Heritage Day
Our annual 8th grade GA Heritage Day is in need of volunteers. Even if your child is not in 8th grade, they will be eventually! This is a great opportunity to help guide the 8th graders through different stations that will teach them about Georgia's past. Everything from making fried apple pies to pottery making to square dancing! It's a fun and educational day for everyone! But it won't happen without your help! If you have any questions, email Suzanne Simonson at email@example.com and use the following sign up genius to participate. This fun day is November 10th.
CMS Organic Learn and Serve Garden welcomes students, clubs, and families to plant, weed, harvest and deliver produce to North Fulton Charities or the CMS cafeteria. The year to date total delivery to NFCC is more than 600 pounds of produce and we have given bags of fresh vegetables and herbs to Husky Helping Husky families bi-weekly. Up next in the school cafeteria: butter beans! Butter beans will be ready end of October! We have after school work days and look out for a Saturday joint campus beautification day in November. Look at the newsletter and Facebook for exact dates! Contact Anne Fallon firstname.lastname@example.org c/201-776-8451or Rebecca Meyer email@example.com.
Thank you to our own Klass Family, owners of Southern Sprinkler for donating and installing an irrigation system. We still have to drag the hose 150’ but the sprinklers are AWESOME!
